WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide hands-on patient care, following the plan of care set by the supervising RN.

• Teach patients and their families or caregivers how to manage their care and understand their diagnosis.

• Document clearly and on time.

• Work with our HHA, OT, PT, MSW, speech therapy, and dietitian colleagues, and flag when a patient could use their support.

• Prepare and use equipment and supplies following aseptic technique.

• Keep growing: we support your professional development.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

YOU'LL NEED

• Graduation from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.

• A current LPN/LVN license in [State].

• At least 1 year of nursing experience (home health or med/surg is a plus, but not required).

• Current CPR certification.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• A licensed driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle.

WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY

This job takes you out on the road, so you should be comfortable driving in all kinds of weather and working in varied home environments. Like any nursing role, it involves exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids, and occasionally you'll handle urgent situations. You'll be trained and supported to handle them, with your Clinical Supervisor a call away.
