Getting started
- What is Olive Jobs?
- Olive Jobs is a job-search companion that helps you find and save roles, tailor your resume to any job in seconds, practice mock interviews out loud, and track your applications — all from your phone. It's built by Olive Independent Study, Inc.
- Do I need an account?
- Yes. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or Microsoft. We use your sign-in only to save your profile, resumes, and saved jobs across devices.
- Is it free?
- Olive Jobs is free to download and use. There are no ads.
Using the app
- How does interview practice work?
- Pick a saved job and start a voice mock interview. The app asks role-specific questions, listens to your spoken answers, and gives you feedback. You can also practice by typing instead of speaking.
- Why does the app ask for microphone access?
- The microphone is used only for voice mock interviews, so the app can hear your answers. If you decline, you can still practice in text mode — voice features just stay off until you allow it in your device settings.
- How does resume tailoring work?
- Add your resume to your toolbox, open a job, and the app rewrites and reorders your experience to match that role's requirements. You stay in control and can edit anything before you use it.
- Where do I see updates about my saved jobs?
- Updates — like a saved job closing — appear in your in-app Notifications inbox (open the account menu, then tap Notifications). Open the app any time to catch up.
Account & data
- How do I delete my account?
- In the app, open the account menu (your avatar, top-right) and tap Account & privacy to open Settings. Under Session, tap Delete account — it takes effect immediately. If you can no longer sign in, follow the steps on our Delete Your Account page.
- Can I export my data?
- Yes. On the same Settings screen (account menu → Account & privacy), under Your data tap Export my data— we'll email a secure download link to the address on your account.

Troubleshooting
- The app won't load or sign-in fails.
- Check your internet connection, then fully close and reopen the app. Make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store or Google Play. If it still won't work, email us at [email protected] and tell us your device model and OS version.
