The job-search filters got a tidy-up. The ones you actually reach for — location, work style, role and schedule, and pay — are open and ready the moment the panel opens, while niche options fold into a single “Advanced” section. Clearer labels mean “position type” and “employment type” no longer blur together.

The jobs in your daily digest now honor the location and radius you've set, so a search centered on your town stops surfacing roles several states away. It also skips every role, company, city, and state you've chosen to hide, so the email matches what you'd see in your feed.
Your saved preferences are now grouped into three plain-English sections — what you're looking for, where and how you want to work, and what to hide — so setting up your search takes less hunting. Location fields are map-powered, so what you type lines up with real places.

Typed searches now blend keyword and meaning-based matching, so shorthand like “RN” finds Registered Nurse roles, and a misspelled query quietly retries with the corrected spelling instead of coming up empty. Plain-language locations now work worldwide, not just in the US — and jobs you've already applied to stop crowding your results.
Save a job and Olive now tells you the moment it's taken down, so you don't sink time into a role that's already gone. Closed listings wear a clear “Closed” badge, and their detail page shows the posting is no longer accepting applicants — on both web and mobile.
The job detail header now tucks itself away as you scroll, giving the description the full height of the screen — and slides back the moment you scroll up.

Every job now checks its skill list against your toolbox, pill by pill. Spot a skill you actually have that Olive missed? Tap it, confirm it's yours, and it lands in your toolbox instantly — your match pills update live on every job card, no refresh needed.

A big batch of search-accuracy fixes. Remote searches stay scoped to where you can actually work, excluded companies are gone for good (even when the brand only shows up in the job title), compound skills like “machine learning” no longer get split apart during matching, and jobs with no listed skills stop being labeled “Qualified.”
Interview feedback now grades only what actually happened. End a session early and the areas the conversation never reached aren't held against you — and your icebreaker small talk no longer counts toward your evaluation. Ending an interview also asks for confirmation first, so one stray tap can't cut a session short.
Switching from text to voice mid-conversation now hands Olive a live microphone (it used to go silently deaf), messages typed while the chat is still connecting are no longer dropped, and if your connection hiccups, Olive picks the conversation back up with full memory of what you'd discussed.
A full accessibility sweep: sharper text contrast in both light and dark themes, dialogs that keep keyboard focus where it belongs, screen-reader-friendly confirmations, and proper page landmarks for assistive tech across the app.

On phones, the landing-page concierge swapped its clunky Chat/Results tabs for a draggable sheet — your matches slide up over the conversation, and you can peek, expand, or tuck them away while you keep talking. “+4 more” skills on match cards now actually expand, too.

Olive's new mark rolled out across the entire product — web app, mobile app, and browser extension now share one unified brand. The website also sprouted App Store and Google Play badges teasing the mobile launch.

Fit evaluations dropped the cryptic 0–100 score for plain-language tiers — Strong Match, Almost There, Developing Fit, or Getting Started — plus “Where You Stand” cards that break down each area of the role with what's working and what closes the gap.
Expand any job card to see the full fit breakdown — missing required skills, how your years of experience stack up, education and certification coverage, and per-area match bars. The matching engine always knew this; now you get to see it.
Conversations with Olive got tangible: the concierge drops real, tappable job cards into the chat, finishing a practice interview surfaces an inline feedback card, and the profile-builder chat can pop up an actual form — pre-filled from your conversation — for you to review and confirm.
The profile builder now shows a live completeness meter and stats panel, so you know exactly which sections of your toolbox are filled in — and which gaps are holding your matches back.
The floating feedback button is now fully yours: drag it to any corner and ghost rings light up to show where it'll snap, with the nearest landing spot glowing as you drag. Prefer it gone? Dismiss it and bring it back anytime from settings.
Visitors can now flip between light and dark mode right from the header before ever signing in. The whole site reskins instantly, and your choice sticks around.

Pressing push-to-talk now cuts Olive off the instant you press — it stops speaking, stays quiet while you talk, and responds fresh to what you actually said. No more talking over each other.
Onboarding is now an invitation, not a tollbooth. New users can tap “Set up later” and jump straight into browsing jobs, with a friendly nudge in the notification bell to finish their profile whenever they're ready.

Global undo/redo now covers every change — AI suggestions, your own edits, regenerations — and redesigned change cards clearly label what was Added vs Edited, staying in sync even across undos and reloads. Saving back to your profile shows an explicit review of exactly what will be saved.
Tell the landing-page concierge “software engineer jobs near Atlanta” and it geocodes your location properly — suburbs and surrounding areas included. It also handles real-world asks like a minimum hourly rate or ruling out specific employers, and when you tap a match and head into the app, that exact job opens with you.
The landing concierge no longer forgets you. Close the chat and reopen it — even hours later — and your conversation and matches are right where you left them, with a restart button if you'd rather begin fresh.

A new toolbox setting lets you record whether you hold a security clearance or could obtain one — and fit evaluations and resume tailoring now factor it in. Huge for anyone eyeing government and defense roles.
Adding an excluded role like “CNA” used to break profile saves entirely — and even when exclusions saved, some search paths ignored them. All fixed: exclusions now apply everywhere, understand synonyms, and your For You feed refreshes immediately after profile edits.
