Light mode now sits on plain neutrals — a near-white page, white cards, near-black ink, hairline rules — so the interface reads like paper instead of tinted slate; dark mode is untouched. The Olive mark is a circle now, the same disc in both themes, and it carries the header on its own. And every button across the product is a pill, on the web and in the app.

Ask Olive to rehearse for a role — name the title and, if you know it, the company — and before anything starts she shows what she knows: the company in a line, how many roles it has open and how many match yours, up to five current postings you can practice against, the general-role option, the format (a first-round conversation, 5–7 questions, 10–15 minutes), and the competencies you'll be scored on. Pick a row and the interview begins, with a short checklist showing the setup as it happens. The same brief now heads the Interview setup page, which takes a role and company by name and a pasted description, and the Interview tab on every job page, where you can read it before signing in to start.
Tell Olive “show me everything at Elastic” — or a role at a company, “data analyst at Elastic” — and she resolves the name against Olive's employer index, scopes the search to that employer, and shows it as an “At Elastic” chip you can remove like any other filter. A company-only ask lists every open role there as a plain listing; add a role and it narrows. A name Olive can't pin down comes back with the closest matches in the index rather than a guess.
The front page's five moves now sit in a single row with one caption beneath; the lit move changes every few seconds, so the page says fit, tailor, practice on its own, and hovering or tapping holds one still. The Tailor and Practice doors under the composer now show for everyone who's signed in — “Tailor my résumé” once a résumé is on file — and a member with real history sees their personalized pick-ups in their place. On phones the doors are a grid with nothing to swipe; on desktop the live job wall pauses under your pointer so any card can be opened.

Tell Olive “remote jobs I can do from El Salvador” and the search keeps remote roles open to that country, plus roles that don't restrict by country, while dropping the ones limited to somewhere else. It shows as a “Remote from El Salvador” chip you can remove like any other filter, so the scoping is never invisible. Pay floors got clearer too: name a monthly figure and Olive applies the annual equivalent and tells you the number it used.

Finish a résumé with Olive, or have one read into your profile for the first time, and she doesn't wait to be asked: “Your résumé is in. Pulling up openings that fit your profile now.” The first search runs on its own, seeded from what she just learned — once, and never over a search you already started. Every other path that completes a résumé now ends the same way, with a “See matching jobs” link on the upload toast and in the upload panel, and brand-new members get a one-minute tour of the product the first time they sign in.
Save or size up a job on the search page and a strip of close roles grows under it — “More like the one you saved,” “Close to the one you sized up” — with the same restraint the chat uses: a few picks, never a stream. The interview review page now closes into your next move for that job instead of a bare list, and your morning-email settings sit one click away in the account menu.

Applying always takes you off to the employer's site, so the return now closes the loop: come back and a check-in card in the chat asks “Did you get your application in?” Say yes and the job reads “Applied” with the date everywhere it appears; Olive then seeds a search from it, drops three next roles into the conversation, and asks whether to go broader or deeper. Tell Olive “I want to apply now” and she hands you a card that opens the employer's form straight from the chat. Three days on, if the job is still open, one quiet notification asks whether you're still in the running.
Every sign that you like a job now feeds the next one: save it, favorite it, run a fit check, or tailor a résumé for it, and Olive slips up to three close roles into the chat — each with the company's logo and an “Also wants python, aws” line naming the skills it shares with the job you were on. Olive knows the cards she shows, so “which of these pays best?” is answered from what's on screen, and you can act on any of them just by asking. It stays a gift, not a stream: one drop per job, a few minutes between drops, and nothing while you're mid-interview or mid-résumé.
The always-on résumé button that sat over every chat is retired. Instead, the first time a conversation starts producing results with no résumé on file, one card in the chat offers to take it — with an “I don't have one” that hands profile-building back to Olive, one question at a time — and My Résumé holds the upload for whenever you want it. A résumé that's actually uploading still shows its progress; it just isn't a standing prompt anymore.

The first line of the chat card is now Olive talking — “What do you need? A job, a résumé, interview practice?” — a different ask each day, with the standing promise beneath it: “Speak freely. I'll ask questions as we go.” Your reply reads as a reply and the chips beneath read as answers, which is the back-and-forth the page always demonstrated and never quite said. Signed in, your greeting has already asked, so the card carries the promise alone, and it knows when your résumé is on file.
In the phone layout of the web app, the chat tray is a real sheet: drag it between a peek bar (Talk and “Type a message”), a half-height view where the conversation and the results are both readable, and full height. A flick carries it to the next stop, a tap still toggles it, and the results list pads itself to wherever the sheet rests so the last result never hides underneath.

The front door is rebuilt around the argument instead of the mechanism. The headline names the moment — “AI is changing how people get hired. Talk to Olive and get ahead of it.” — one composer card leads with Talk, and three example asks sit beneath it as chips you can send as-is. On the right, a live wall of real postings drifts by: the roles closing tonight near you and the day's fresh postings, each with logo, title, and pay when the employer states it, and tapping one opens the job and starts the conversation. Below the fold the page tells the rest in order: an animated walkthrough of the product, the five moves (Tell, Search, Fit, Tailor, Practice), why Olive listens, and live numbers from the corpus. The whole site moved from warm cream onto a cool near-white ground, and signed in, the page greets you in two short sentences with an opener that changes day to day, on the web and in the app.

Click into a posting from your results, your saved jobs, or a closing-soon card and Olive responds on her own: a sentence or two on how this one sits with you — where you'd be strong, where the gap is, or what's notable about the role — and the single next move. No summary of what you're already reading, and once per job, so browsing back and forth never nags. The job page got quieter to match: one call to action, the step the readiness ladder actually picks next, instead of a row of four buttons competing with it.

When Olive asks a closed question — working or in school? internship, part-time, or full-time? — the answers arrive as chips under her message. Tap one and it's sent as your reply, word for word; typing something else always works too. One set is live at a time, and a tapped row settles with your choice highlighted so the conversation reads back cleanly.
Type a query and the results now reflect who you are: within each band of equally relevant jobs, they order by how well each one fits your profile, so a search like “accounting roles” leads with the ones you're strongest for. Searching an exact title or company keeps the text in charge, and which jobs you get doesn't change — only their order.

If nearly every job on your Recommended page carries a missing requirement, a banner now names the reason — most often an experience-level filter that's shutting out the postings you'd actually clear — and offers the fix as one tap: widen the level range, or add what's missing to your profile. Olive suggests; nothing changes until you tap. Jobs that made the page only because there wasn't more nearby now carry a small “Weaker match” chip.

Every search now knows where its real matches end: a “More related roles” break marks the seam, and what sits below it is labeled as related, never passed off as an answer. A query's words have to actually appear in a job for it to count — “unity developer” stops admitting every developer — and when a page comes up thin, the panel says exactly what fell short, with counts: “Includes 9 jobs that don't list a schedule,” “Only 2 of the top results fully match ‘data analyst’.” A page capped by one of your filters names that filter and offers to lift it, and a credential in your query — “teaching jobs requiring Oregon certification” — is understood as one. The same honesty shows inside Olive's chat, on the web and in the app.

The searching email trades its standing tips for up to three next moves worked out for you that morning — close the gap on the nearest miss, add a few more skills, loosen an exclusion, tell Olive where you can work — and each is one click into the front-page chat with the ask already on the table, and the job already open when the move is about a job. The setup email lands the same way, and the matches email's “Practice for this role” now opens a rehearsal for your top match from that same chat.

Save a job and Olive lays out the path — check your fit, tailor your résumé, practice the interview — with a quiet card on the job page that knows which step you're on and offers exactly one suggestion at a time, never a pop-up. When a fit check surfaces a gap you've actually covered, one tap hands it to Olive to work into your résumé and re-check. Dismiss a suggestion and it stays quiet, on every device you use.
Turn any search into a standing watch: Olive keeps your exact filters — radius, exclusions, all of it — and your morning email includes jobs that appeared since you saved it. Each job is emailed once, and a quiet day means no filler email at all. Manage every watch from Settings → Notifications, or just tell Olive “email me new matches for this search” in chat; you can keep up to five running.
When a nearby search comes up light, Olive now stretches the radius in steps until there's a real list to show — and says so with a chip like “Widened to 25 mi · +18 jobs” that you can tap to undo. A radius you set yourself is always respected; only the default gets stretched.

Finish a practice interview and the review now includes a delivery read: your pace, pauses, filler words, and vocal variation, each with its own bar, plus coaching moments quoting your actual answers — what you said, and a sharper way to say it. An annotated transcript shows each answer the way it sounded, pauses and emphasis included. Delivery is a preview for now — it doesn't count toward your score yet — but it's all there to read.
Open a job search in chat and the first results are already shaped by the job preferences you saved — your roles, your area, your schedule — shown as chips you can edit right there. A new “Use my defaults” control in the filter drawer snaps any search back to your baseline in one tap.

The front page now surfaces real application deadlines closing tonight near you — and once Olive knows your target roles, they're matched to them. Tap one and Olive opens the posting and starts the conversation: is this worth your evening? The stat row went concrete too — how many jobs were added today, and how many ghost or closed listings were pulled out.
Recommendations now weigh attainability alongside relevance: roles whose requirements you clearly meet rise, roles asking for years you don't have yet sink, and if you've told Olive the level you're aiming for, seniority is judged against that — not just your résumé. The result is a feed that leads with jobs worth applying to today.
Generated and tailored résumés now order their sections to fit your career stage — a student's or new grad's résumé leads with education, an experienced candidate's with work history — and the in-app preview shows exactly the order the download will have. Downloads carry a proper name now, too: FirstLast_Role_Company, ready to attach as-is.
⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) jumps to the chat composer from anywhere, ⌘⇧O starts a fresh conversation, and on the front page “/” focuses the command bar — or just start typing and it catches your keystrokes mid-word. The talk controls now show their keys in tooltips, including hold-Space to talk.

Building your profile no longer has to happen one question at a time: paste your whole history into Olive's chat — a stack of bullets, an old bio, notes off your phone — and she reads it the way she reads a résumé, sorting experience, skills, and education into your profile in one pass. Long pastes are fine; Olive keeps the conversation going while the parse finishes.

Hover it on the web, or long-press it in the app, and it explains exactly what it means — so you know how fresh a lead is before you invest an evening in it.

Search with an experience-level filter — entry level, junior, mid — and each job card now carries a small chip saying where that posting actually stands: “No experience required,” the exact years it asks for, or a plain “Experience level not stated” when the employer doesn't say. No more guessing how a role squares with the level you asked for — the card tells you up front.
Type a search in your own words and the filter bar now echoes exactly what Olive understood, chip by chip — the role, the place, the schedule — so there's never a mystery about what was searched. Counts got straighter, too: when a search spans your area plus remote roles, the total reads “12 nearby · 10,000+ remote” instead of one blended number. And a search that comes up empty now names the filters standing in the way, each one a tap from being removed.
The Toolbox is now My Résumé — your Profile and your Documents, two tabs side by side — and Practice is now Interview, everywhere it appears. Same tools, names that say what they hold; old links and bookmarks land in the right place automatically.

Type your email, we send a six-digit code, and you're in — no password to invent, no other account required. It works on the web, in the mobile app, and in the browser extension, and it joins Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn in your Connected Accounts, so whichever method you reach for gets you into the same account.
Ask for a fit check before you've told Olive about yourself and a “Build it with Olive” button now pivots that same conversation into a short guided interview — anchored to the very job you were curious about, no detour to a separate page. The finish-your-profile reminder in the notification bell works the same way, and Olive coaches the whole journey: questions come one at a time, nothing gets asked twice, and anything it saves can be changed or undone just by asking.
Upload a résumé and go right back to what you were doing — when it lands, a note tells you exactly what arrived: “12 skills, 4 roles, and 2 certifications.” Ask for a fit check or a tailored résumé while it's still processing and Olive simply holds that thought and runs it by itself the moment your profile is ready. And once your profile grows, a nudge on your results offers a one-tap re-run so everything re-ranks with the full picture.
Hand-inked olive branches now grow through the homepage — sketching themselves in beside the headline, watermarking the chat, and winding through the story below the fold — a crisp counterpart to the soft color wash behind them. The page answers more plainly, too: who's behind Olive, what it costs (nothing — no card, no trial clock), and a FAQ one tap from the footer.

LinkedIn joins Google and Microsoft as a one-tap sign-in on the mobile app and browser extension, matching the web. A new Connected Accounts section in settings shows each sign-in method linked to your account and the email behind it — connect several so whichever you reach for gets you in, or disconnect one with a confirming tap. The sign-in screens themselves wear a matching new look on every platform.
Olive now follows the career pages of hundreds of AI-native companies — research labs, infrastructure startups, and the products built on them — many of which never post to the big job boards. Their roles land in search alongside everything else: verified, de-duplicated, and kept fresh with the same checks as the rest of the catalog.

The most-requested filter from our first hundred users is here: narrow any search by how recently a role went up, right from the filters panel on web and mobile — or just tell Olive “only show me jobs posted this week.” It saves with your Job Preferences like any other filter, so every search starts from it. Job cards are more precise about age, too: when the employer lists a posting date you'll see it, and when Olive only knows the day it first tracked the role, the card says exactly that — so a date always means what it says.

Every job now carries a share button — on the job detail across web and mobile, and right in the Olive chat — that hands you a clean public link anyone can open, account or not. You can also just ask Olive to share the job you're discussing: a share card drops into the conversation with the link and a one-tap copy button. Best part — if the person you send it to has the Olive app, the link opens straight into their Olive tab with the job already pulled up, and Olive asks what they'd like to do with it: check their fit, tailor a résumé, or practice the interview. Pasted links unfurl into a rich preview with the role, employer, and company logo, too.
A little pin now lives on job cards, missing skills, and nearly every insight inside a fit evaluation. Pin something and it becomes a standing subject of your conversation — carried across searches, view changes, and reconnects until you remove it, with a tray above the composer showing everything Olive is holding onto. Pinned jobs act as your working shortlist: Olive compares them, knows which role “that hospital one from earlier” means, and nudges each toward its next step. Pin a skill you're missing and Olive opens a real coaching thread — specific questions that surface experience you already have and capture it straight into your toolbox, and when a skill genuinely isn't there yet, an honest, concrete plan to build it.

In tailor mode, a live gap tracker shows exactly which parts of the target job your résumé already covers and what's left to strengthen.
Your toolbox and résumé library graduated out of account settings into their own top-level workspace, one click from anywhere — profile sections in the Toolbox tab, your résumé library right beside it. Practice joined the main navigation too, so the four things you do most all sit side by side.
Olive's front door now puts talking first: a tap-to-talk button front and center, quick-start shortcuts right beside the composer, and a welcome-back note from Olive when you return mid-search. Signed in, the headline reflects what you were working on — so picking your search back up starts the moment the page loads.
When Olive edits, adds, or removes something in your tailored résumé, the panel now glides to that exact spot and pulses a soft ring around it just before the change lands — so you see every edit the moment it happens instead of hunting for what changed.

A big batch of search-accuracy fixes. Remote searches stay scoped to where you can actually work, excluded companies are gone for good (even when the brand only shows up in the job title), compound skills like “machine learning” no longer get split apart during matching, and jobs with no listed skills stop being labeled “Qualified.”
Interview feedback now grades only what actually happened. End a session early and the areas the conversation never reached aren't held against you — and your icebreaker small talk no longer counts toward your evaluation. Ending an interview also asks for confirmation first, so one stray tap can't cut a session short.

Conversations with Olive got tangible: the concierge drops real, tappable job cards into the chat, finishing a practice interview surfaces an inline feedback card, and the profile-builder chat can pop up an actual form — pre-filled from your conversation — for you to review and confirm.
The profile builder now shows a live completeness meter and stats panel, so you know exactly which sections of your toolbox are filled in — and which gaps are holding your matches back.
The floating feedback button is now fully yours: drag it to any corner and ghost rings light up to show where it'll snap, with the nearest landing spot glowing as you drag. Prefer it gone? Dismiss it and bring it back anytime from settings.
Visitors can now flip between light and dark mode right from the header before ever signing in. The whole site reskins instantly, and your choice sticks around.

Tell the landing-page concierge “software engineer jobs near Atlanta” and it geocodes your location properly — suburbs and surrounding areas included. It also handles real-world asks like a minimum hourly rate or ruling out specific employers, and when you tap a match and head into the app, that exact job opens with you.
The landing concierge no longer forgets you. Close the chat and reopen it — even hours later — and your conversation and matches are right where you left them, with a restart button if you'd rather begin fresh.
