This page explains how to delete your Olive Jobs account and the data associated with it. It applies to the Olive Jobs mobile app (iOS and Android) and the Olive Jobs website.

If you can sign in, you can delete your account at any time, and it takes effect immediately:

  1. Open Olive Jobs (the app, or olive.jobs) and sign in.
  2. Go to Account → Privacy & Security (on the web: Privacy & Security settings).
  3. Under Danger Zone, choose Delete account and confirm.

Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out. Before deleting, you can use Download My Data on the same page to export a copy of your information.

Option 2 — Request deletion if you can't sign in

If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer access your account, you can ask us to delete it:

  • Email [email protected] with the word "Delete" in the subject.
  • Send your request from the email address associated with your account.

Because every Olive Jobs account is created with an email-based sign-in provider (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn, or Apple), your account is tied to that email address. We use it to verify your identity before deleting, and we may ask you to confirm an account detail first. We complete verified deletion requests as soon as possible, and within 30 days at the latest.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes the information that identifies you — your name, email address, profile links, and demographic answers — and unlinks everything else so it can no longer be attributed to you. Your sign-in stops working and your data is no longer accessible in the product.

Underlying content (such as resume files, conversations, and voice recordings) may be retained in de-identified form, as described in the Privacy Policy. To request a full erasure of that content, email [email protected].

What we may retain

After deletion, we may retain a limited amount of information only where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes, or in de-identified and aggregated form that no longer identifies you. Backup copies are purged on a rolling schedule. See the Privacy Policy for details on retention.
