Overview

St. Francis Hospital is New York State's only specialty designated cardiac center and offers one of the leading cardiac care programs in the nation. St. Francis physicians performs one of the largest volumes of percutaneous coronary interventions. Exciting opportunities await eligible candidates in our state of the art St. Francis Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Lab Program at Mercy Hospital. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team.

Job Details

The successful candidate will circulate and scrub cardiac diagnostic and Percutaneous Coronary Interventional (PCI) procedures performed in the Cath Lab. The RN will admit and recover pre and post cath patients.

The RN will cross-train to hemodynamic monitoring and is responsible to perform hemostasis. The RN provides direct nursing care to patients, assuming responsibility and accountability for the total care of assigned patients. The RN supervises and directs the activities of Patient Care Associates and Cath Lab Assistants. On call required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BSN program required

  • NYS Nursing License required

  • 2 years Cath Lab experience preferred

  • 2 years Critical Care experience required

Salary Range

USD $54.48 - USD $74.72 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
