Yes: a social worker lists a contract the agency cancelled mid-engagement, because the population and caseload carried under it are what a clinical supervisor reads the line for. Drop it only if the program ended before you were assigned a single case. Client cancelled means something else on a social work résumé
In a social work role the word client already means the person on your caseload, so a résumé line that says the client cancelled reads as a case closing rather than a contract ending. Name the contracting party as the agency, the district, or the program, and state in the line itself that the program was cancelled and when.
The résumé line for a cancelled contract reads like any other placement: licence level, clinical or macro track, population served, caseload size, and any supervision hours logged under the contract's supervisor. If the shutdown had you closing or transferring cases, writing closing summaries, and updating safety plans for anyone who moved to another provider, that's casework. It belongs on the line.
