Sr HR Generalist

Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr HR Generalist for a Pewaukee, WI area organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented human resources specialist who can balance employee support, compliance, and day-to-day HR administration while contributing to recruiting and onboarding efforts. The successful candidate will help strengthen workplace practices, maintain accurate HR records, and provide guidance across key HR programs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily human resources operations, including employee records, policy administration, and support for managers and staff.

• Serve as a key point of contact for employee relations matters by addressing concerns, guiding resolutions, and promoting a positive work environment.

• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new hires have a smooth and organized transition into the company.

• Administer benefit-related processes, including employee enrollment support, updates, and responses to routine questions.

• Maintain and update HRIS data to ensure personnel information is accurate, secure, and current.

• Partner with hiring leaders to support recruiting efforts, including job posting coordination, candidate communication, and hiring logistics.

• Assist with the development and implementation of HR procedures that improve consistency and compliance across the organization.

• Prepare HR documentation and reports to support audits, internal tracking, and business decision-making.

Requirements • Proven experience in a human resources generalist role with broad exposure to core HR functions.

• Strong background in employee relations and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.

• Hands-on experience with onboarding, HR administration, and benefits support.

• Proficiency working within HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate employee data.

• Experience supporting recruiting activities and collaborating with hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

• Solid understanding of HR policies, employment practices, and compliance standards.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
