Position Purpose

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will lead enterprise financial planning and forecasting for TAIT. This role owns the integrated three-statement planning model with a specific focus on cash flow, working capital and liquidity visibility. The Director will support enterprise investment analysis and PMO-led cost reduction initiatives by validating savings methodology, tracking realized savings, and identifying gaps between committed actions and financial results.

Responsibilities

Enterprise planning, forecasting and three-statement model ownership

  • Build and maintain an integrated three-statement model as the single source of truth for consolidated planning, forecasting, scenario analysis, and cash flow visibility.

  • Partner with FP&A analysts and business partners to define key forecast drivers that support the rolling monthly forecast, annual operating plan, and multi-year strategic plan.

  • Develop analysis that supports forecast assumptions and explain variances between forecast and actual performance; continually refine the model based on business trends and actual results.

  • Maintain sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of key assumption changes on EBITDA, cash flow and working capital.

  • Leverage AI and automation tools to increase the speed and accuracy of financial insights.

Cash forecasting, working capital and liquidity visibility

  • Partner with Treasury and Accounting to maintain a rolling cash forecast that connects operating performance, working capital, capital spending and project timing to liquidity outlook.

  • Monitor key working capital drivers, including receivables, payables, project assets and liabilities, inventory and other cash conversion trends.

  • Quantify the cash flow impact of timing shifts and management actions, and communicate implications clearly to Finance leadership.

PMO cost reduction and spend cube analytics

  • Support the PMO office by tracking cost reduction initiatives, validating savings methodology, confirming realized savings and identifying gaps between committed actions and financial results.

  • Support maintenance of dashboards and executive reporting that compare cost reduction targets to actual savings by initiative, owner, timing, category and financial statement impact.

  • Partner with Global Procurement to analyze spend cube data to identify controllable spend trends, supplier consolidation opportunities and savings actions.

  • Evaluate and execute ROI analyses for capital and strategic investments.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA, CFA or CPA preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance or operational finance.

  • Strong financial modeling skills, including advanced Excel, driver-based forecasting, variance analysis, sensitivity analysis and demonstrated ownership of integrated three-statement planning models.

  • Experience in a leveraged or PE-owned environment, connecting working capital, liquidity, cash flow, operations, and covenant considerations to defensible forecasts.

  • Experience with cash forecasting, working capital analysis, liquidity reporting and financial statement interdependencies.

  • Experience using AI, automation, or business intelligence tools to improve financial analytics, reporting efficiency, and recurring planning processes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex financial and operational information for senior finance leaders.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; able to adapt quickly, challenge assumptions constructively and lead others through complex business issues.

TAIT Benefits:

  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans

  • Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions (HDHP plans)

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Medical & Dependent Care)

  • Employer-paid life insurance with optional supplemental coverage

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match

  • Paid parental leave

  • Wellness stipends

  • Voluntary benefits (e.g., accident, critical illness)
