Full job description
NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work .Join the team and discover how you can build a lasting impact on the world.
The Cryptographic Services team implements and operates our hardware-rooted cryptographic asset lifecycle platform — the system of record for every key, certificate and PKI chain we hold. Our company requires a technical engineering lead to take the platform forward across technology, process and people. Can you make a high-assurance cryptographic service self-service, without giving up a single control? This is for you!
What you'll be doing: Build cryptographic asset registry
-
Build key and certificate inventory, lifecycle tracking, and the interfaces that make them usable.
-
Instrument it and govern it: telemetry, audit evidence, and policy-based authorization for sensitive material.
Grow into — leadership
-
Own signing flows end to end: job type design, API and CLI surfaces, and the customer experience on top of them.
-
Support post-quantum in production signing: ML-DSA dual signing on HSM-backed keys, LMS software keys, and hybrid flows.
Throughout — self-service and agentic automation
-
Build the agent-assisted paths that let customers help themselves, and be rigorous about where a human must stay in the loop.
-
Measure it — deflection rate, time to first signature, onboarding time. If it does not move a number, it did not work.
What we need to see:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-
8+ years building and operating production software, including ownership of a service with real availability expectations.
-
Strong hands-on engineering in Python, Java, Go or similar, across the full stack of a cloud service.
-
Working knowledge of applied cryptography — PKI, key management, digital signatures, HSM-backed systems. Depth here matters more than breadth elsewhere.
-
Practical experience applying AI and agentic workflows to real engineering problems, with an honest view of where they help and where they do not.
-
Clear written communication and proactive habits. Our customers work to fixed silicon schedules and should hear from us before they have to ask.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
-
Hands-on experience with code signing, HSM-backed key management, or software supply chain security.
-
You have replaced a ticket-driven process with genuine self-service, and can say what actually moved the needle.
-
Interest in growing into broader technical leadership. The scope of this role is designed to expand.
