Critical Care New Graduate RN Residency Program – Emergency Department

Start Date: February 2027Location: Geneva General Hospital – Geneva, NYFull-Time | Registered Nurse (RN)

Are you a new graduate Registered Nurse ready to build your nursing career in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment?

Our Critical Care New Graduate RN Residency Program – Emergency Department is designed to provide newly licensed nurses with the education, clinical experience, mentorship, and support needed to confidently transition from nursing school into professional practice.

You’ll work alongside experienced Emergency Department nurses and providers while developing the skills necessary to care for patients with a wide variety of medical, surgical, and emergent conditions.

Eligible new graduates may qualify for our RN New Graduate Incentive Program. Financial incentives are available based on program eligibility and applicable employment commitments.

Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing required.

Licensure

  • New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required upon employment/start of clinical practice.

  • Newly licensed RNs and recent nursing graduates are encouraged to apply.

Certifications

  • BLS required.

  • Additional certifications and Emergency Department competencies will be completed as required during orientation and residency training.
