Software Engineer (Java/AWS Cloud) (SAB-2611-01)

Support mission-critical web service development for an identity, credential, and access management solution. You will help design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain highly available, enterprise-level services built natively on Amazon Web Services (AWS). What you will do: - Design and develop cloud-native Java and JavaScript services on AWS - Integrate and test services, and support their operational maintenance - Keep services robust, scalable, secure, and fast Required qualifications: - Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (U.S. citizenship required). - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of software engineering experience. Without a degree, 9 years of software engineering experience. - At least 2 years of that experience in the SIGINT, information assurance, or IT domains. Preferred qualifications: - High level of proficiency in Java and JavaScript software development - AWS native development, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM roles, permissions, and service control policies - Terraform or other infrastructure as code - Familiarity with Linux environments - Unit testing with JUnit and mock testing frameworks - Automated builds with GitLab CI/CD pipelines - PKI encryption and authentication - Docker and Kubernetes Location: Fully on-site at a government or contractor facility in the Fort Meade, MD area. No telework. Schedule: Full-time, W-2 Sabre Engineering employee. 40 hours a week, normal day shift. Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
