Employee Engagement Coordinator

What You'll Be Doing

The Employee Engagement Coordinator (Site Administrator) helps create a positive, connected, and engaging workplace experience for employees. This role leads and supports employee activities, events, community involvement, and site communications while also providing day-to-day administrative and operational support.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing people together, turning ideas into well-executed events, and taking ownership of projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

Employee Engagement & Activities

  • Develop creative ideas for employee activities, events, and engagement initiatives that strengthen workplace culture and connection.

  • Take ownership of planning and coordinating employee activities from initial concept through execution and follow-up.

  • Lead and support the Employee Activities Team in developing, planning, and executing engaging events and programs.

  • Coordinate logistics for site activities, including scheduling, communications, supplies, vendors, and other event needs.

  • Look for opportunities to improve employee activities and introduce new ideas that enhance the employee experience.

Community Engagement

  • Serve as the company representative and liaison for charitable, volunteer, and community initiatives.

  • Coordinate volunteer opportunities, donation drives, and other community involvement activities.

  • Partner with employees and internal teams to encourage participation in community programs and initiatives.

  • Support company-sponsored charitable events and activities from planning through completion.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support including coordinating travel arrangements, scheduling and organizing meetings, preparing meeting minutes, preparing expense reports, and managing incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence.

  • Create and distribute communications such as flyers, announcements, newsletters, and digital content.

  • Ensure communications are accurate, timely, current, and consistent with company branding.

  • Process supply orders and support departmental and site needs.

  • Maintain inventory of site prizes, activity materials, and supplies.

  • Provide front reception coverage as needed, creating a professional and welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and guests.

  • Support special projects and other operational initiatives as business needs evolve.

  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality when handling sensitive and proprietary information.

What You Bring

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.

  • 3–5 years of related experience, preferably in employee engagement, event coordination, community relations, office administration, or a similar role.

  • Experience planning and coordinating events or employee activities preferred.

  • Strong personal integrity and commitment to confidentiality and avoiding conflicts of interest.

  • Creative, proactive, and comfortable taking initiative and turning ideas into action.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with employees and teams across the organization.

  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strong event planning and coordination skills.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
