About Us
At We., we've spent decades at the intersection of technology and humanity, bridging the gap between what businesses create and how people experience those creations. We've learned that beneath even the most unruly situations — whether it's a global crisis, an emerging technology, or a sweeping organizational change—lies a simple human need. That need could be for trust, connection, safety, or a sense of purpose. But it’s always there. And it is only by uncovering these truths that we can make real, meaningful progress.
About the Role
We. Communications is looking for a Senior Specialist, Global Social & Content Marketing to help elevate how our agency shows up, tells its story and engages audiences around the world.
This is a hands-on role for a social-first storyteller and content creator who understands what makes target audiences stop scrolling, pay attention and engage. The role will help shape and execute We.’s global paid and organic social strategy, initially focused on LinkedIn, while expanding into other relevant channels over time.
Video storytelling will be central to the role. We’re looking for someone who can spot and shape a great story, and turn it into compelling video, audio and written content. They should be equally comfortable developing a short-form video, interviewing an executive, writing a sharp LinkedIn post or creating a social campaign around We.’s latest thinking.
This person will balance strategy with execution — working with leadership to determine what we should talk about, who we need to reach and how best to engage them, then rolling up their sleeves to create and activate the content.
They will also bring an AI-forward mindset, using emerging tools and best practices to improve content ideation, creation, optimization and performance while maintaining a high bar for creativity, quality and originality.
The role will be based in the U.S. with a global remit, working closely with colleagues and leaders across North America, EMEA and APAC. This will require flexibility to collaborate and provide support across multiple time zones.
Responsibilities
-
Shape and execute our global social strategy: Help evolve We.’s paid and organic social strategy, initially focused on LinkedIn, ensuring a consistent global approach while supporting regional priorities and opportunities.
-
Create great social-first content: Turn We.’s people, thinking, work and culture into distinctive video, audio and written content that drives engagement and traffic.
-
Lead video storytelling: Develop concepts, capture and/or direct content, interview leaders and subject matter experts, and create engaging short-form video optimized for social.
-
Grow our LinkedIn presence: Develop programming and content that builds We.’s audience, increases engagement and creates a more distinctive agency presence globally.
-
Connect paid and organic: Use paid social to amplify priority content, reach key audiences and increase the impact of high-performing organic content.
-
Support executive thought leadership: Help leaders across our global business translate their expertise and perspectives into authentic, engaging social content.
-
Use AI to work smarter: Apply AI across research, ideation, scripting, editing, repurposing and optimization, continually exploring new ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of our content.
-
Learn and optimize: Use social and website performance data to understand what resonates across audiences and markets, experiment with new approaches and continually improve performance.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience in social media, content or digital marketing, ideally within a global organization and/or agency environment.
-
Exceptional video storytelling and content creation skills, with experience taking social-first video from concept through execution.
-
Strong writer and storyteller with the ability to turn complex ideas into simple, compelling and human content.
-
Hands-on experience with organic and paid social, ideally with deep familiarity with LinkedIn.
-
Strong working knowledge of AI tools and best practices and how they can improve social and content marketing.
-
Experience working across markets, cultures and time zones, with the ability to balance global consistency with local relevance.
-
Highly self-directed, curious and resourceful — a quick learner who can spot opportunities and make things happen.
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will make We. significantly better at social storytelling globally - creating a more distinctive and engaging presence, making video a much bigger part of how we tell our story and helping us build stronger connections with clients, prospects and other priority audiences.
They will bring a creator mindset to the marketing team: someone who sees a great story and immediately starts thinking about how to capture it, package it and get it in front of the right people.
They will also help us become smarter about how we use paid social, performance data and AI to ensure our best content reaches the right audiences around the world and drives meaningful engagement and action.
