Cruz Associates, Inc. of Yorktown VA has an open position and is looking for qualified candidates for an Administrative Analyst. The job location is at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, MD.

Scope of Performance: This position is that of an Administrative Analyst, Indian Head Naval Surface Warfare Center, MD. This position will be full-time and onsite (40 hrs. weekly). Administrative Analysts will focus on improving systems, processes and efficiency across new and existing contract vehicles. Candidates will support all aspects of recruiting and on-boarding actions. This position could include light travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to learn and assist with work orders, procurement plans, scheduling, bills of material, inventory management and physical verification, phased procurement of required components, liaison with customers and vendors, and shop floor inventory management coordination

  • Support and access procurement data packages, spreadsheets, and documentation

  • Analyze data and statistics for recommendation on project and program activities

  • Manage day-to-day operations utilizing multiple Microsoft Office products

  • Manage and maintain meeting minutes and action tracking to ensure efficient operations

  • Ability to manage quality plans and reports for process improvements for data analysis, policy development, and budget analysis

  • Assist with recruiting operations for new hiring actions, including attending job fairs in Virginia and Maryland

  • Manage onboarding of new hires and associated paperwork

  • Manage day-to-day operations and calendars

  • Support and understand interview processes

  • Track training plans

  • Ability to learn the contractual requirements

  • Work alongside process improvement teams to streamline new and current staff requirements

Education and Experience – REQUIRED:

  • U.S. Citizen

  • 5+ years’ experience as an administrative analyst or related field

  • Vast knowledge in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to gain/maintain Secret Clearance

  • Strong analytic skills in data analysis tools and software
