The Role In this role at Daylight, you’ll play a critical role in executing our Virtual Power Plant (VPP) and demand response program participation across the country. You’ll also develop partnerships and build operational capabilities to enhance commercial performance.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about energy markets and technology who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll shape our analytics platform, integrate key data sources, and develop risk management frameworks—all while having opportunities to grow into a leadership position as we scale.

This role is remote with the New York City metro area preferred. Travel to New York City is required for meetings and team building events.

  • Build operational capabilities to manage obligations while ensuring BESS warranties, degradation targets, and market participation requirements are met.
  • Develop partnerships with optimization and scheduling platforms to enhance commercial operations.
  • Market Analytics & Strategy
  • Identify and integrate data sources for energy market forecasting, congestion analysis, and revenue modeling.
