Full job description

Are you an energetic person with a passion to help people? We’re looking for a compassionate, caring LPN with the ability to think on the fly to join our team.

Job Summary

Your primary responsibility is to train caregivers in proper usage of PPE's and caring for Covid-19 clients.

Essential Functions

1 Training:

  • Training and monitoring caregivers who would take care of COVID-19 patients in their homes.

  • Proper usage of PPE.

  • Compliance to CDC guidelines for taking care of COVID-19 patience

2 Introductions:

a. Introduce caregivers to clients as requested by the Scheduling Coordinator.

  1. Assessments:

a. Perform initial assessments as needed.

  1. Backup Caregiver work:

a. Acting as first line fill-in for any last-minute shifts we are unable to fill with current caregiver staff.

  1. Mentoring Caregivers:

a. Act as an expert in client care and working with Caregivers as a mentor.

b. Implement field employee safety programs.

  1. Supervisory visits

a. As required by IDPH

Requirements:

  • A caring heart wanting to make an impact on people’s lives.

  • Positive “can-do” attitude and self-starter.

  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

  • Forward-thinker (always strategically thinking ahead).

  • Licensed Practical Nurse

  • Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities. Excellent telephone and interpersonal relations abilities.

  • Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.

  • Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.

  • Constantly striving to go above and beyond to achieve the highest possible customer service.

  • Be available for on-call duty outside of normal office hours (including caregiving).
