Full job description

Elite Rehabilitation and Care Center in Vestavia Hills is home to Independent residents as well as seniors needing short term or long-term nursing care. The leader of the team has been with the community over 11 years. As an RN Administrator, she brings her skill and passion to be an advocate for both residents and her staff to ensure a caring and rewarding environment. Join our team where you will be given the tools and support to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Duties Include:

Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants; Perform necessary nursing duties; Perform administrative duties such as charting and completing medical forms and reports; Receive physicians’ orders; Order medications, supplies, and equipment as needed; Prepare and administer medications as necessary; Notify charge nurse of all drug and narcotic discrepancies; Ensure the accuracy of narcotics records for shift; Inform charge nurse of staffing needs; Responsible for comprehensive nursing care.
