Full job description
Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop looking for new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Senior Staff Product Manager to lead product-led growth (PLG) for TurboTax across Do It Yourself, Do It With Me, Full Service, and Business Tax. You’ll own a high-visibility charter to turn our product into a powerful engine for acquisition, conversion, and retention. Using our rich data, AI, and a world-class team, you’ll build personalized, intelligent journeys, from first impression through start, completion, and return, that give customers a reason to choose TurboTax and come back.
What You’ll Do
-
Set the PLG strategy: Define a multi-year vision across acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and lifetime value, grounded in what drives customers to start, finish, and return.
-
Build AI-powered, personalized experiences: Lead the launch of intelligent growth experiences, including personalized top-of-funnel journeys, onboarding, recommendations, and agentic shopping and guidance. Partner closely with AI and Data Science to tailor each experience to the customer’s situation.
-
Drive in-product growth loops: Own the levers that help the product grow itself, including nudges and intercepts, referrals and rewards, cross-sell, and lifecycle automation. Turn winning experiments into durable, scalable capabilities.
-
Own results end to end: Be the single point of accountability for your growth surface, from discovery and experimentation through launch, scale, and iteration, including roadmap, priorities, and outcomes.
-
Run a rigorous experimentation engine: Own core growth KPIs (auths, starts, conversion, revenue). Design controlled experiments and user studies to separate true incremental impact from underlying trends and to choose the next bet.
-
Balance AI impact with trust: Evaluate AI experiences for growth impact and quality, including accuracy, relevance, and reliability. Move fast while protecting sensitive financial data, and keep experiences transparent and customer-controlled.
-
Lead across the organization: Be the hub for Design, Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, and Marketing, and partner with Credit Karma, GTM, CRM, and platform teams to keep growth strategy aligned across the full customer journey.
-
Raise the PM bar: Share learnings, mentor product managers, and help the growth organization scale.
Qualifications
-
8+ years of hands-on product management experience shipping large-scale consumer products to millions of customers, with end-to-end ownership of core product areas.
-
Proven success driving product-led growth by optimizing consumer flows and in-product experiences to improve acquisition, activation, conversion, or retention.
-
Strong analytical skills, including designing and running A/B tests and using SQL, dashboards, or product analytics tools to guide decisions.
-
The ability to turn ambiguous customer, business, and technical problems into a clear strategy that aligns stakeholders and drives impact quickly.
-
Technical fluency to engage engineering and data science leads on architecture, AI model capabilities, and data infrastructure.
-
A builder mindset, with the leadership skills to inspire multi-disciplinary teams and influence senior leaders in a matrixed organization.
-
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative or technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience building and shipping AI/LLM-powered consumer experiences, such as personalization, recommendations, or agents.
-
Experience with growth loops and lifecycle levers, such as referrals, in-product nudges, cross-sell, or lifecycle automation.
-
Background in fintech, personal finance, or other domains where customer trust and data privacy are paramount.
-
Experience with marketing technology and lead management platforms.
-
MBA and/or Strategy Consulting background is a plus.
