Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Cardio-Oncology, Clinical Faculty. We are seeking an experienced, mid-career to senior-level cardiologist with expertise in cardio-oncology to join our growing program. This faculty member will partner closely with the Cancer Service Line to advance comprehensive cardiovascular care for oncology patients while contributing to clinical excellence, education, research, and program development across Rush University Medical Center and Rush Oak Park Hospital .

Position Highlights

• Join a comprehensive cardio-oncology program offering outpatient and inpatient care, advanced cardiovascular imaging, clinical and translational research, and participation in nationally recognized educational initiatives.

• Partner with the Cancer Service Line to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care for oncology patients.

• Help lead the continued growth and strategic development of Rush's expanding cardio-oncology program.

• Provide predominantly outpatient and inpatient clinical care at Rush University Medical Center , with additional clinical responsibilities at Rush Oak Park Hospital.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, advanced cardiac imaging, heart failure, interventional cardiology, and cardiothoracic surgery.

• Participate in and help lead educational initiatives.

• Contribute to teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activities consistent with an academic faculty appointment.

• Build upon an established regional and national reputation through research, speaking engagements, program development, and professional society involvement.

• Practice independently without dedicated APP support while collaborating within a highly multidisciplinary care team.

• Join a well-established and expanding cardio-oncology program committed to advancing patient care, education, and innovation.

Candidate Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.

• Demonstrated expertise and significant clinical experience in Cardio-Oncology.

• Mid-career or senior physician with an established record of clinical excellence.

• Recognized regional and/or national reputation in cardio-oncology, including academic, research, or professional society involvement.

• Passion for multidisciplinary collaboration, program development, and academic medicine.

• Interest in teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range: $415,000 - $550,000/yr
