City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift Second (Evenings) Overview: Sentara Health is hiring a laboratory support technician to work part time in the Microbiology Lab at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in. (1300-0000 weekdays and 1200-2230 every other weekend)

Overview: As a laboratory support technician (LST) duties are to prepare specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff Perform instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology (required)

Certification/Licensure

  • No certification or licensure required
