Job Description
This Lead Agilist role serves as a Senior Scrum Master within a large banking organization, responsible for coaching and supporting one or more Agile squads while ensuring adherence to Agile and Scrum principles. The position requires extensive experience in Agile delivery, servant leadership, and team coaching to help squads become self-organizing, collaborative, and focused on delivering business value. Lead Agilists facilitate Scrum ceremonies, guide Product Owners and development teams in backlog management, and drive continuous improvement through metrics, feedback loops, and inspect-and-adapt practices. They also mentor teams on Agile best practices, risk management, conflict resolution, dependency management to improve overall team effectiveness. Additionally, the role promotes a strong culture of accountability, customer focus, compliance, and proactive risk identification while fostering continuous learning and organizational agility.
Skills and Requirements
Onsite 4x/week 5+ years in Agile/Scrum Experience communicating and removing impediments outside of team Excellent oral and written communication skills Coaching skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts PI Planning
