  • Partner with business and technology leaders to align recovery capabilities with business criticality, risk tolerance, and recovery objectives.

  • Identify material recovery risks, capability gaps, and dependencies; drive appropriate remediation and escalate significant risks or decisions requiring leadership attention.

  • Establish clear accountability across business and technology teams and influence stakeholders to drive participation, ownership, and adoption of BC/DR practices.

  • Define and oversee testing and exercise approaches to validate preparedness, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Provide senior leadership with clear reporting, insights, and recommendations regarding program maturity, preparedness, key risks, and investment or prioritization decisions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.

  • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.

  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, operating, or maturing a BC/DR or technology resilience program within a complex organization.

  • Strong knowledge of BC/DR principles and practices, including business impact analysis, recovery objectives, continuity and recovery planning, dependency management, and testing.

  • Proven ability to influence, align, and drive accountability across business and technology teams without direct authority.

  • Strong judgment and ability to assess complex risks, identify tradeoffs, develop recommendations, and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including experience engaging with and presenting to senior leadership.

  • Ability to work effectively across technical and business domains and translate recovery and resilience topics into business risk and impact.
