Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching philosophy statement (maximum two pages), a list of three professional references, and official transcripts.

Job Summary
Join a dynamic and growing School dedicated to preparing future health, fitness, and sport professionals. This in-person, nine-month, non-tenure-track Instructor position, based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, begins in Fall 2027 and provides the opportunity to teach undergraduate students, mentor future practitioners, and collaborate with colleagues in support of academic and professional excellence.
We seek a candidate who is passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum delivery, program development, and student success across the School's academic programs.
The School of Kinesiology and Nutrition serves more than 600 students and includes 27 faculty and staff. With five undergraduate programs, three master's programs, an active doctoral program, and state-of-the-art research and teaching facilities, the School offers a collaborative environment that supports excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Teach and mentor undergraduate students to promote academic and career success.

Maintain teaching excellence through ongoing professional development.

Support program assessment and continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in school, university, professional, and community service activities.
