Full job description

Fire Protection Services is a local company that has been serving Georgia’s business community for over 30 years. Our team members are energetic, creative people with a passion for customer service. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will work with all our departments finding qualified candidates to join our team and have an immediate impact on our team and operations!

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate and establish relationships with leadership to understand recruitment needs and challenges

  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process, including market research, sourcing, screening, scheduling, and identifying qualified candidates for full-time and part-time employees at both of our Georgia office locations (Atlanta and Perry)

  • Work closely with the Management Team, building a recruitment plan that aligns to the business needs and objectives

  • Identify and coordinate community outreach recruitment opportunities

  • Manage the Applicant Tracking System and supporting HRIS technology administration

  • Monitor and develop strategies to improve recruiting metrics

  • Review and revise job descriptions, as well as assist Hiring Managers in developing job descriptions for newly added roles

  • Support other HR and recruitment initiatives as business needs evolve

  • Develop and manage social media- Linkedln, instagram, FB,etc

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience preferred

  • 2–4 years minimum experience in staffing, human resources, or talent acquisition

  • Experience recruiting for skilled trades or the service industry

  • Social media experience, video editing, posting, etc

  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • A desire to constantly learn, improve, and expand skill set

  • Must be able to pass a background check
