Position Details: Dates: 11/13/26-4/1/27 15-20 hours/week, includes Saturdays and Sundays
Wage: $20.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience Not medical or dental benefit eligible.
Primary Objective of Position: Ensure a safe and fun environment for students, staff, and parents at Minnetonka Public Schools Tonka Dome.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the transition from one rental group to the next rental group.
- Ensure that dome equipment (nets, goals, benches) is used respectfully and stored properly after use.
- Ensure that L Screens/Catcher Screens/Tees stay in their respective batting cages – North or South.
- Ensure that the South batting cage will be organized/cleared after use – End zone nets pulled to sideline/nets put to the side.
- Keep West sideline clear of player equipment, spectators, nets, and goals to allow safe access to North and South batting cages.
- Ensure that soccer and lacrosse goals are moved to East sideline when not in use – not pushed into the North or South end zones.
- Monitor non-renters who try to use the dome.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Monitor and enforce the policies of the Tonkadome:• No seed, food or beverages other than water
- No lawn chairs with pointed legs
- No tape on turf
- Ensure rental organizations pick up garbage left by their users when their rental period is complete
- Enforce other rules as posted
Job Qualifications:
- Evidence of successful experience in program leadership.
- Evidence of successful experience in working with youth and adults.
- Evidence of excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of and experience with athletic equipment.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Evidence of ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with frequent interruptions.
