Description

.We are seeking a customer-focused Account Specialist to serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of customer accounts. In this role, you'll partner closely with sales, operations, production, and accounting teams to ensure orders are processed accurately, delivered on time, and supported with exceptional customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and coordinating across multiple departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts.

  • Prepare quotes, enter orders, process order changes, and provide timely status updates.

  • Coordinate with operations and production teams to confirm lead times and delivery schedules.

  • Support the sales team by verifying pricing, product specifications, and order details.

  • Track and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and returns.

  • Monitor open orders and proactively communicate potential issues before they impact customers.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and account documentation.

  • Manage customer procurement portals, including order, pricing, and invoice uploads.

  • Partner with accounting on billing inquiries and credit-related matters.

  • Assist with logistics and shipping coordination as needed.

  • Provide coverage and support for team members during peak workloads or absences.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of experience in customer service, account management, order processing, inside sales support, or related roles.

  • Manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or supply chain experience is preferred.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Experience working with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems.
