A County Caseworker 2 with Delaware County Children & Youth is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day. You will support children and families who need guidance and stability. This role focuses on providing direct service to children and families who have experienced abuse or neglect. You will work in homes and community settings to support safety and well-being. As a County Caseworker 2, you will perform the following duties: 1. Conduct Assessments: Complete investigations and evaluate safety concerns for children and families 2. Provide Case Management: Coordinate services and track progress for each assigned case 3. Support Families: Offer guidance in areas such as parenting, budgeting, employment, and daily living skills 4. Arrange Placements: Place children in foster homes when necessary to maintain their safety 5. Coordinate Services: Work with community partners and make referrals to strengthen support systems 6. Participate Training: Engage in required training programs leading to caseworker certification
