Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. Serving two primary markets – passenger vehicle and commercial truck equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities. Job Purpose

This Dana facility is located less than three miles from Stellantis’s current Toledo North Assembly Plant, where the current Jeep Wrangler is manufactured. The plant will assemble front and rear axles for the next-generation Jeep Wrangler, keeping the history of the location in Toledo alive. Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain CMM programs, perform dimensional analysis, and provide measurement data to support product validation and problem-solving.

  • Manage customer and supplier PPAP submissions, approvals, and annual revalidations.

  • Coordinate engineering and process changes, including validation, documentation, and customer approvals.

  • Administer plant calibration systems, including internal and external calibration activities.

  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and purchasing requirements.

  • Support quality audits, compliance activities, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage the internal audit function for the quality system.

  • Use the internal audit system to drive continuous improvement.

  • Manage the documentation change management system.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions, utilizing risk assessments to ensure process controls deliver continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

  • Perform MSA and capability studies of new and current gages and equipment.

  • Assist in investigations into quality rejects, including customer-returned material.

  • Assist and coach others in the use of statistical techniques.

  • Assist with process improvements and data analysis.

  • Conduct process capability studies and quality audits.

  • Conduct and participate in customer visits and reviews.

  • Other duties as required.

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ years experience

  • Proficiency in CMM programming, dimensional metrology, GD&T interpretation, and measurement analysis.

  • Experience with customer and supplier PPAP processes, APQP, engineering change management, and AIAG Core Tools.

  • Experience managing calibration systems, laboratory equipment, and inspection, measuring, and test equipment (IMTE).

  • Working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality requirements.

  • Strong project management, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Experience with FMEAs, Process Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions.

  • Proficient in the use of Minitab or other statistical analysis programs
