Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly

The Arrow Financial Corporation is seeking dynamic, authentic individuals to join our amazing team! Currently, we are looking for an experienced professional to join Deposit Services team as:

ACH and Wire Specialist - Glens Falls

ABOUT THIS POSITION

The ACH and Wire Specialist is responsible for processing, validating and reconciling electronic transactions. Responsibilities will also include reviewing, researching and resolving discrepancies in customer data. Provide service and support to customers using ACH and Wire transfer services in addition to other digital services. Provide support to branch network and assist manager with coordinating work tasks. Work directly with outside companies, government agencies and financial institutions and ensure that laws, regulations and policies are adhered to.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Process ACH origination, returns, exceptions and reclamations in a timely and accurate manner meeting department guidelines and in adherence to NACHA rules

Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers in a timely and accurate manner meeting department guidelines

Research, report and provide resolution to exceptions in a timely manner according to department policies and procedures.

Monitor for suspect, erroneous and fraudulent electronic transactions

Review data for proper authorizations and compliance and take action as appropriate.

Update, modify and correct data meeting the department’s goals and objectives while following policies and procedures.

Provide consistent, outstanding customer service by anticipating and reacting to internal and external customer needs

Education/Certifications:

Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required

2 years prior banking experience with expanded knowledge of banking regulations preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

Basic knowledge of NACHA rules preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong problem-solving skills, ability to analyze and solve problems independently

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects to meet deadlines

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.

Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.

The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 an hour commensurate with experience and education. Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s annual bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
