Full job description

Overview

Microsoft is seeking a Copilot Adoption Lead to lead the Copilot Adoption team and make customer IT the scale engine for Copilot deployment and adoption. This role will set the adoption strategy, connecting enterprise insight, practical technical guidance, and scalable enablement. The leader will equip customers to deploy confidently and expand adoption, across Chief Information Officer (CIO), platform owners, AI strategy roles, and IT practitioner audiences.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.

Responsibilities

  • Own an integrated adoption strategy to accelerate deployment and expansion for Microsoft 365 Copilot (Chat, Cowork, Code, and Autopilot). Set clear priorities, measuring impact through deployment and expansion, IT readiness, time to deploy, blocker reduction, and scalable enablement effectiveness.

  • Build repeatable deployment frameworks, readiness assessments, and tools that give customers the confidence to act. Translate licensing, data readiness, governance, security controls, application and network prerequisites, and configuration requirements into practical guidance that apply across enterprise environments.

  • Build scalable programs and enablement that include practical technical and customer-success content, operational guidance, and practitioner resources that help customers deploy and expand adoption.

  • Scale field readiness and enable Microsoft’s scale engines through reusable deployment resources, technical guidance, and enablement programs.

  • Incorporate customer and field feedback on deployment barriers. Turn recurring issues into better frameworks, tools, and practitioner guidance, and provide decision-ready feedback to Engineering to inform product improvements without owning engineering delivery.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Copilot Adoption team with deep product expertise, practical technical depth, and strong customer focus.

  • Develop an AI-first operating model to accelerate all aspects of the team's operation.

  • Embody our Culture (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values) and Values (https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/culture)

  • 8+ years people management experience.

  • Experience owning scalable adoption or customer-success programs and deployment outcomes for a large-scale cloud, software as a service (SaaS), or enterprise technology portfolio.

  • Experience with AI and enterprise platforms, including deployment, data readiness, security and governance.
