Full job description

We're looking for RNs to join our PACU TEAM!

Recovery room nurse or post-operative nurse is responsible for the care and monitoring of patients after surgery.

  • Plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for clients utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.

  • Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other clinical personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.

  • Supports the philosophy and goals of the individual clinical area.

  • Supports the shared governance vision and nursing obligations of membership which guide the practice of all nurses at Valley View Hospital.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program

  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Two years RN experience required.

  • PACU or Critical Care experience is strongly preferred.

  • BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association with cards in-hand before start date.

  • PALS through the American Heart Association within six months.

We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.

SCHEDULE:

  • 32 hours/week. Working 2-10's and 1-12-hour shift with rotating weeknight and weekend call.

SALARY RANGE:

  • $37.50 to $56.23/hour (BSN)

  • $36.76 to $54.06/hour (ADN)

  • Evening, Night and Weekend Differentials.

  • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
