The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

  • Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.

  • Must have an Associate degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, OR equivalent qualifying college coursework (64 semester hours, including at least 21 semester hours in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or Early Childhood Special Education).

  • Must meet required Illinois administrative course/training requirements.

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Compensation- hourly $24.00-$26.00 based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.

  • Health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), paid time-off, and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.

  • Child Care discount.

  • Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
