Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician assists pharmacists in providing safe, accurate, and efficient pharmaceutical services throughout the organization. Working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, this position prepares and distributes medications, packages and labels prescriptions for pharmacist verification, supports sterile compounding and IV preparation activities, maintains automated dispensing systems and floor stock medications, processes medication orders and deliveries, and participates in inventory control. The Pharmacy Technician also maintains records, billing, and supply inventories while ensuring compliance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards to support optimal patient care.
