Full job description

Here at Magic, we're personalizing real world experiences. Our first product, Loyalist, is an agentic CRM for restaurants. We partner with 1,000+ venues across 180+ cities, from Carbone to 4 Charles to Eleven Madison Park. We're expanding into members clubs, hotels, and more. We sell in person. Our team walks into restaurants, hosts dinners for operators, and shows up at the industry's events. We're looking for a founding GTM engineer to build the system behind that motion. You'll own the data, tools, and AI agents that tell our team which groups to meet, who runs them, and what each event and conversation actually produced. This is a builder role. You'll run our enrichment and programmatic outbound, and you'll build the internal tools that sales, customer experience, and growth use every day. You'll report to our Head of Growth and work closely with the marketing and growth team, as well as founders, sales, and customer experience. What you'll do

  • Build and manage our internal GTM platform. Develop our data enrichment processes and build the agents that power our go-to-market motion

  • Build and run programmatic outbound, including cold email, end to end: targeting, sequencing, and reply handling, plus the infrastructure behind it (sending domains, warmup, and deliverability)

  • Own lead scoring and lifecycle. Score every account on signals like new openings, chef and GM changes, and groups switching reservation or POS systems, then build the lifecycle automations that move it from first touch to closed, onboarded, and expanding

  • Build tools that make sales and customer experience feel superhuman, e.g. a context transfer layer between the two teams or a meeting scheduler for the sales team

  • Partner with marketing and growth to turn our data into campaigns, events, and programs that drive pipeline, and support on SEO / AEO

  • Own GTM reporting and connect our tools, so sales, customer experience, and growth work from the same data and can see what each channel and event produced

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of experience across GTM engineering, engineering, demand gen, or RevOps

  • Some background in marketing and growth preferred

  • Experience with data enrichment. You know the providers, waterfalls, and how to get a clean, verified list

  • You can build distributed systems

  • Experience running programmatic outbound, including cold email at scale, with the deliverability to match. You understand the statistics of domain, IP, and copy health

  • High competence with Claude and Clay. You've built real workflows and tools with both, not just prompts in a chat window, and you have a strong point of view on the best tools and integrations for each task

  • You enjoy supporting teammates. You turn what sales, customer experience, and marketing ask for into tools they actually use

  • You care about data quality. Duplicates and wrong location counts bother you

  • High ownership and a bias toward shipping

  • Bonus: experience in or around restaurants or hospitality

Who thrives here

  • You want to be early and own a system end to end

  • You'd rather ship a working tool this week than a perfect one next quarter

  • You like being close to the field. You'll join walk-ins and events to see how the data gets used

What we offer

  • Salary range $150,000-$190,000 and equity

  • We work in person 5 days a week in our SoHo office

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance for you and all your dependents (FSA and HSA plans available)

  • Lunch daily from the best restaurants in NYC; you choose all the restaurants your first week

  • A day trailing a restaurant, so you see what our customers live every day

  • Unlimited PTO
