SkillBridge - RMETechnician
As a Skillbridge fellow at CBRE, every moment partneringwith customers is an opportunity. You’ll work behind the scenes to ensureoptimal productivity for the site using industrial troubleshooting techniques,Predictive Maintenance (PdM) tools, and your maintenance knowledge to superviseand resolve equipment issues before they arise.
The Military DoW SkillBridge program is an opportunity for Service members togain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training,apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service.SkillBridge connects Service members with industry partners in real-world jobexperiences under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. Separating Servicemembers can be granted up to 180 days of permissive duty to focus solely ontraining full-time with approved industry partners after unit commander (firstO-4/Field Grade commander in chain of command) provides written authorizationand approval. CBRE as a Skill Bridge partner offers real-world training andwork experience in in-demand fields of work while having the opportunity toevaluate the Service member’s suitability for the work. Military DoWSkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from CBRE, as theycontinue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty servicemembers.
About The Role
In this vital role, you will support the function of theclient’s Fulfillment Center (FC) operation, as a member of the ReliabilityMaintenance & Engineering (RME) team. As part of the RME team you willrepair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handlingequipment and robotic systems throughout the facility. Collaborating with theOperations team and other business partners, you will work behind the scenes toensure optimal productivity for the site using industrial troubleshooting techniques,Predictive Maintenance (PdM) tools, and your maintenance knowledge to superviseand resolve equipment issues before they arise.
What You'll do
-
Repair,maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handlingequipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.

Leadand audit preventative maintenance procedures.

Install,maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components,photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.

Leadand mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plansfor Maintenance Technicians.

Buildand close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS).

Cultivatepositive working relationships with RME business partners and OperationsMaintenance team members.

Promotea safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
What You'll Need
-
High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree inElectrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or other relatedengineering or 5+ years of equivalent professional experience, depending onrole.

Experience in mechanical, electrical,Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), control network/HMIcomponents, and Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.

Physical requirements include, standing,walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads upto 50 lbs.
