About the role
The responsibilities include assisting in any area in the company as directed by the manager who the employee is assigned. Has to be flexible and have the ability to work independently. Needs to work well with different levels of employees and managers.
Perform all duties in accordance with our mission to provide the finest quality and most unique innovative products, while ensuring high overall consumer satisfaction. Employees are expected to demonstrate consistent attendance, a high level of safety, quality consciousness, an attitude of continuous improvement, attention to the cleanliness of the shop and buildings and the ability to work as a team in your department and company-wide.
What you will be doing
ESSENTIAL RESULTS:

Receive written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor

Preventative Maintenance
-
Machine Maintenance
-
Paint interior and exterior walls and trim as needed
-
Maintain and repair building plumbing and electrical systems
-
Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring and belts
-
Repair or replace building brick, stone, concrete and wood portions
-
Maintain air conditioning/heating equipment
-
Maintain and operator oil separator
-
Fabricate and install new equipment such as racks, air lines, etc.

Operate forklift as needed
-
Unload trucks of material as needed
-
Assist other departments with furniture moving, unloading supplies, etc
-
Perform general janitorial duties for building cleanliness and restroom maintenance

Consistently work on process improvement

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
-
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
-
Some lifting, up to 50 pounds may be required
-
Other duties as assigned
About you
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2+ years
Skills/Abilities: Eager to learn. Good verbal communication, flexibility, willing to do physical work. Follows policies and procedures as directed. Gets along well with co-workers.
