Platform & Operations Associate

Tocco is building the infrastructure for the next generation of materials — a platform where breakthrough alternatives meet real adoption, and where circularity, climate logic, and industrial innovation finally align. We’re looking for a fast, smart, and methodical Platform & Partnerships Associate to help us scale our supplier ecosystem — through precise targeting, thoughtful outreach, and a healthy obsession with quality. This isn’t a sales role. It’s operational curation at scale. You’ll help us find and onboard the world’s most promising material innovators — from algae-based packaging companies in Taiwan, to AI-enhanced coating producers in Germany, to biomaterial labs in Indonesia. You'll be at the frontlines of a new global map — one supplier at a time. You’ll operate at the intersection of research, outreach, curation, and light project management, helping us:

• Find suppliers aligned with our curation standards

• Introduce them to the platform in a way that’s human and clear

• Make sure the data, visuals, and technical info they provide meets quality standards

It’s one of those rare roles where speed meets quality, and where the right person can punch well above their title. 🌍 What You’ll Do 📍 Supplier Discovery & Outreach

• Research and identify potential suppliers aligned with Tocco’s sourcing criteria: innovative materials, low-carbon footprint, strong storytelling, and good design sense

• Craft highly tailored outreach messages via email, LinkedIn, or web forms — no spam, no spray-and-pray

• Manage outreach pipelines through Airtable, Notion, or CRM tools

• Track responses and drive clear follow-ups — you own the loop 🧱 Onboarding & Curation Support

• Guide selected suppliers through the onboarding process

• Collect key information: material descriptions, technical specs, photos, sustainability certifications, applications

• Check for quality, clarity, and consistency before anything goes live

• Escalate edge cases or high-value suppliers for founder/team review 🧠 Internal Ops & Workflow Refinement

• Suggest and help implement better outreach flows or copy templates

• Assist in refining our internal databases and CRM tagging structure
