Assistant Director, Donor Relations

Position Summary

NYU Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director, Donor Relations to join our Development and Alumni Relations team. The Assistant Director will help create meaningful connections between Stern and its donors through thoughtful communications, engaging experiences, and personalized stewardship. They will draft high-level donor communications, including compelling impact reports and legally binding gift agreements, and collaborate with colleagues across Stern and NYU to bring donor stories and experiences to life.

The Assistant Director will also work closely with students, connecting them directly with donors by arranging student-donor meetings, coordinating written thank-you notes and video messages, and preparing students for speaking opportunities. In addition, they will help plan and execute donor stewardship events.

Qualifications

The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, including professional writing and communications experience and demonstrated success working with multiple stakeholders, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000 to USD $86,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equ ity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
