Responsibilities
Works directly with the Supervisor Medical Dosimetrist as a lead member of the Treatment Planning Team. Responsible for all dosimetry performed on all radiation oncology patients under the supervision and medical authority of the Radiation Oncologists. Responsible for the technical supervision, coordination and quality assurance of the dosimetry division of the radiation oncology department. Assists the Supervisor Medical Dosimetrist as needed with roles such as teaching, completing projects, and distribution of workload.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Certified Medical Dosimetrist with minimum of 3 years full-time experience in Radiation Oncology including IMRT treatment planning 2. Demonstrates advanced leadership skills3. Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
PREFERRED:
- Certified Medical Dosimetrist with minimum of 5 years experience in Radiation Oncology2. Familiar with advanced treatment planning methodology such as SRS/SRT/SBRT3. Bachelor’s degree in related field
Work Hours: 8AM-5PM Weekend Requirements: No On-Call Requirements: No
