$400,000 - $525,000 a year

Description

The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology Oncology is seeking an MD or equivalent Faculty to work in our Regional offices.

The Wilmot Cancer Institute, a newly designated National Cancer Institute (NCI) cancer center, at the University of Rochester Medical Center, is seeking Hematology/Oncology faculty to join our regional expansion sites in Upstate NY/Southern Tier areas. Enjoy working alongside UR faculty MD/DOs, APPs, and nursing staff. Closely collaborate with experts across the Wilmot Cancer Institute through tumor boards, educational sessions and clinical trial opportunities. Our positions are a blend of outpatient Hematology/Medical Oncology with infusion center coverage.

THE POSITION

Qualifications

M.D., M.D./PH.D. Degree or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Successfully completed an accredited fellowship program and possess ABIM Board Certification in an oncology specialty

Possess academic credentials and accomplishments for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or higher at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date

Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry

Must meet all credentialing requirements

Eligible for Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology

Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required

Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
