Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $42 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, OT hours if requested - between 5-8 hours

What’s a typical day as Manufacturing Engineer I - Assembly? You’ll be:

  • Planning, coordinating, and performing manufacturing engineering work for projects or processes within established guidelines.

  • Supporting the analysis and specification of methods, process steps, plant, machinery, and equipment to continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes.

  • Contributing to feasibility testing and validating proposed engineering solutions.

  • Assisting in drafting engineering standards and specifications and evaluating their effectiveness.

  • Performing inspections under supervision to ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and recommending remedial actions as needed.

  • Coordinating activities of subcontractors and suppliers, acting as a primary point of contact within established contract management plans.

  • Identifying and addressing shortcomings in existing processes and procedures through established change management programs.

  • Supporting product development and engineering activities by analyzing customer needs and delivering solutions.

  • Participating in project management activities to achieve specific goals.

  • Engaging in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry best practices.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level in Engineering or a related field (required).

  • Possess knowledge and skills in engineering technology, design, development, testing, and implementation.

  • Are familiar with business requirements analysis, project schedule management, technical operations support, health and safety, and contract management.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.

  • Are detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

  • Are eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
