Primary Job Duties

As a Crew Scheduler, you'll collaborate with Pilots, Flight Attendants, Dispatch, and all four of our airline partners to keep our flights covered and operating on time. As a Crew Scheduler, you will perform various customer service and technical crew scheduling functions and activities:

  • Provide scheduling support to Pilots and Flight Attendants

  • Utilize multiple computer programs simultaneously while taking phone calls and chats

  • Monitor/ensure compliance with crewmember legalities

  • Make calls to crew members notifying them of schedule changes

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve challenges and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations

As a Crew Scheduler, you'll enjoy:

  • 11-hour shifts (work 4 days one week, 3 days the next, with consecutive days off)

  • $16.50 per hour training wage, increasing to $19.00/hour after passing classroom and on-desk training (approximately 7 months).

Minimum Requirements

SkyWest Crew Schedulers come from a wide range of backgrounds, education, interests, and experience. We are looking for individuals with the following traits:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Desktop PC/Computer experience

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing and fast-paced environment

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Bring a passion and ability to find solutions

  • Outstanding listening and critical thinking skills

  • People oriented with a positive and cooperative attitude

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, early mornings, afternoons, and graveyard shifts)

  • A desire to learn and a commitment to professional development

  • Demonstrated work stability

  • Provide a 12-month commitment to the position

  • This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.

Physical and Other Requirements

  • Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time

  • This job is not remote. Candidates must reside near or relocate to St. George, UT by the start of class.

  • Not accepting candidates who now, or in the future, require sponsorship for employment
