  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, driving completion timelines and resolving accounting issues that could affect reporting accuracy.

  • Coordinate reporting deliverables with corporate leadership and overseas headquarters, aligning submissions with group reporting expectations and deadlines.

  • Oversee accounting for intercompany transactions and balances, including reconciliation efforts that support clean consolidation outcomes.

  • Prepare indirect rate calculations and supporting analyses in accordance with the needs of a government contracting environment.

  • Analyze financial performance against forecasts, prior periods, and operating expectations, highlighting key drivers behind material variances.

  • Produce clear management reports and financial presentations that communicate results, trends, and risks to stakeholders.

  • Support process improvements within financial reporting and close operations, including enhancements tied to tools, workflows, or reporting methods where needed.

  • Strong background in consolidated financial reporting, including intercompany accounting and elimination entries.

  • Proven ability to prepare and review financial statements with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience performing variance analysis and translating financial results into meaningful business insights.

  • Knowledge of project accounting principles, preferably within government contracting or similarly regulated industries.
