Full job description

The brands on your kitchen shelf are run by people doing extraordinary work that nobody sees.

We're building the platform they run on, and a brand they'll be proud to be part of.

Confido is the AI operating system that runs cash application, deductions, trade and planning in one place for CPG brands. That means Finance, Sales, and Ops finally work on the same number.

We’re trusted by 250+ brands managing $30B+ in revenue, including Daisy, OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Idahoan, and more. We've achieved best-in-class growth and recently raised a $55M Series B led by Insight Partners to accelerate our momentum. If you want your work on shelves everywhere — and outsized ownership while you build — we'd love to meet you.

The Role We’re seeking a seasoned deductions professional from the CPG world to join us as a functional expert for our deductions & automated disputes modules. In this role, you’ll help bridge the gap between our product, customer support, and go-to-market teams. You’ll have outsized influence on how technology shapes the future of deductions and AR management across the CPG landscape.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with product and engineering to inform roadmap priorities, validate designs, and make sure we’re solving real CPG challenges

  • Synthesize customer feedback and market intelligence into actionable insights

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them optimize workflows, solve challenges, and get the most value from the platform

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing on go-to-market activities, including discovery calls, content, educational materials, and webinars

  • Build and maintain the documentation the team and product run on

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in deductions, disputes, and/or accounts receivable at a CPG brand, in finance or consulting, or at a CPG-focused software company

  • Deep functional expertise across the deduction lifecycle, including identifying, validating, coding, and disputing both trade and non-trade deductions across multiple channels (grocery, mass, natural/specialty, club, e-commerce)

  • Working knowledge of how deductions management and AR connect to broader finance and accounting practices, including trade spend, reserves and accruals, write-offs, and financial reporting

  • Strong written and verbal communication, including turning operational knowledge into clear documentation and requirements

  • Excited by ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and cross-functional collaboration

  • Willingness to work at our NYC headquarters 5 days a week

🌴 Perks + Benefits

  • Equity — own a meaningful piece of the company you’re helping build

  • Fully paid health coverage through Aetna — we cover 100% of employee premiums

  • Top-tier dental and vision coverage through Guardian

  • Carrot Fertility Pro — comprehensive fertility and family-forming support

  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave

  • Unlimited PTO — plus regular 4-day holiday weekends we actually take

  • 401(k) through Vestwell

  • Paid relocation support — we’ll help you make the move to NYC

  • Fully equipped workspace from day one — laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a $200 stipend to personalize your setup

  • Team perks — catered Friday lunches, team dinners, and unlimited coffee + snacks featuring products from the brands we work with
