Position Summary:

The Lab Coordinatort provides will ensure that the lab spaces are set up daily and prepared for the following day five days a week. The lab is in use between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. The lab will be ready for faculty and students each day before 8:00 am and will be prepared for use the following day after the completion of lab activities at 4:00 pm. The Lab Coordinator will follow the instructions provided by the Program Director and faculty regarding the preparation of the lab. The Coordinator will also keep the Program Director and faculty informed about the need to replace, order, and repair equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure lab and simulation environments are adequately prepared, safe, and equipped with functioning technology, equipment, and consumables, and work with the Director of Academic Operations to address any campus-level facility or safety concerns.

  • Maintain inventory and ordering of lab supplies and equipment; develop and manage replacement and maintenance plans for simulation hardware and software, keeping the Director of Academic Operations informed of major needs impacting campus resources.

  • Perform other duties related specifically to lab and simulation coordination, as required by program directors, coordinating with the Director of Academic Operations when campus-level support or resources are involved.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong computer and technology skills required.

  • Strong organizational skills required.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience with Simulation

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • NA
