Full job description
Job Description: Role Overview As a Key Account Executive, you will be a critical member of our commercial team, helping build our enterprise sales motion from the ground up. You will own and expand relationships with our most strategic customers—companies building the future of physical AI, robotics, and advanced automation—and help them leverage our specialized data solutions to accelerate their products and research. This is a high-impact role for a commercially driven, technically curious operator who thrives in an early-stage environment. You will combine strategic account management, consultative selling, and hands-on deal execution, working directly with senior business leaders, technical teams, and internal Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
-
Strategic Account Management: Build trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, technical leaders, and other key stakeholders across strategic enterprise accounts.
-
Account Growth: Own the full customer lifecycle, from initial engagement and onboarding through expansion and renewal. Identify new use cases, opportunities, and stakeholders to grow account value.
-
Consultative Selling: Develop a deep understanding of each customer's technical and business challenges and translate those needs into tailored data solutions.
-
Enterprise Deal Execution: Own complex commercial processes end-to-end, including opportunity development, pricing, negotiation, procurement, contracting, and closing.
-
Customer & Product Partnership: Serve as the voice of the customer internally, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate customer needs and feedback into product and service improvements.
-
Build the Sales Motion: Help establish and refine our enterprise sales playbook, processes, and best practices as we scale.
-
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate internal teams to ensure customers receive a high-quality experience and that opportunities move efficiently from initial conversation to closed revenue.
Required Qualifications & Skills
-
Enterprise Sales Experience: 3+ years of experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management, business development, or a related commercial role, ideally within AI, robotics, physical AI, developer infrastructure, or other technical products and services.
-
Technical Fluency: Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts, including but not limited to: AI/ML, data pipelines, model development, or robotics, and communicate them effectively to both technical and business audiences.
-
Enterprise Selling: Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations, build multi-threaded relationships, manage long sales cycles, and close high-value enterprise deals.
-
Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the executive presence to engage directly with senior technical and business leaders.
-
Ownership & Execution: Highly self-motivated and organized, with the ability to independently drive opportunities forward in a fast-moving environment.
-
Startup Mindset: Comfortable operating with ambiguity, building processes from scratch, and adapting quickly as the company, product, and market evolve.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience selling into robotics, AI, autonomous systems, manufacturing, or advanced technology companies.
-
Existing relationships with enterprise decision-makers or technical leaders in the robotics and AI ecosystem.
-
Experience selling data, AI infrastructure, model training, or other highly technical products/services.
-
Track record of managing and expanding strategic enterprise accounts.
-
Experience working at an early-stage or high-growth startup where you helped build the commercial function from the ground up.
