Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Diagnostic Radiologists to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Atlanta VA Medical Center located at 1670 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30030. Shift scheduling is generally Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. 1099 Position Pays: $400/hr
Responsibilities

Interpret and provide accurate diagnostic reports for a wide range of imaging examinations, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities as required.

Perform and interpret neuroimaging studies, including CT and MRI of the brain, head and neck, and spine.

Communicate critical and urgent findings to referring providers in a timely manner and document communications in accordance with facility policies.

Provide consultation to physicians and other healthcare providers regarding appropriate imaging studies and interpretation of findings.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care.

Oversee imaging protocols and provide clinical guidance to radiologic technologists to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Supervise the administration of contrast agents and medications related to diagnostic imaging procedures, as appropriate.

Participate in quality assurance, peer review, and performance improvement activities.

Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and facility requirements.

Meet established productivity, accuracy, and report turnaround time standards.
Qualifications
-
Board Certified in Radiology.

Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia

Demonstrated experience interpreting neuroimaging studies, including CT and MRI of the brain, head and neck, and spine.

Fellowship training in Neuroradiology preferred but not required, depending on contract requirements.

Maintain active AHA BLS and ACLS

Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
All candidates must be able to:

Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
-
Lift up to 20 lbs
-
Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
-
Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
