Overview
The Manager ofMaterials Management will lead the interfacility logistics and materials, COSFundamentals implementation, and inventory analytics teams and implement keybusiness processes and systems functionality improvements. Working closely withcross functional leaders and peers in operations & supply chain to createand execute processes that ensure manufacturing operations has the right part,at the right place, and at the right time all while optimizing capitalinvestment and material overhead.The Manager ofMaterials Management will also lead transformational change to our supply chainprocess, focused on leveraging the full capability of our ERP system,automating supply chain transactions and implementing Kanban material pull allwhile optimizing the space footprint of materials.
Responsibilities
-
Leadsthe Cirrus Corporate Cycle Count Program. Responsible for ensuringcompliance with all Cirrus accounting policies related to accuracy andaudit-ability of all production inventory.

Responsiblefor metrics and actions regarding aging exception transactions includingreceiving inspection (RII), negative inventory, and non-nettableinventory.

Identificationand resolution of material constraints including space, equipment, andlabor.

Responsiblefor departmental budget performance.

Drivescontinuous process improvement, strives to improve efficiency, likely tochallenge processes where favorable alternatives may be available.

Leadthe implementation of kanban material pull throughout the internal supplychain and promote kanban processes with external suppliers.

Drivesdata analysis and reporting of key performance indicators such as:material delivery performance, supplier conformance, material dwell timeand inventory turns.

Developefficient material handling processes to improve material receivingoperations including the use of Advance Ship Notices (ASNs), 3-way match,and one-piece flow.

Supportstrategic initiatives.

Assistwith succession planning.

Assistwith budget planning for area.

Assistsin development and documentations of business processes for area.
Qualifications
Required:
-
BS/BA degree in Business or Supply Chainrequired.
-
Experience in operations, leadership,inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes required.
-
Experience with visual management systems andone-piece flow processes required.
-
- Expert level understanding of MRP and therelated systems to administer required.
-
Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience andrelevant experience required.
Preferred:
-
Masters degree preferred.
-
APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)required or hiring commitment to obtain in first 18 months of employment.

Experience in establishing Kanban inventory management processespreferred.
-
Strong presentation skills and business acumen. Ability to conciselycommunicate at all levels within the organization and externally preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills, proven leadership ability, and the abilityto manage the requirements of others preferred.

Preferred data access/retrieval skills with extensive experience indata analysis, data manipulation using MS Excel, MS PowerBI, MS Access and/orother tools as provided.

Pay Range
Salary Range: USD $101,880.22/Yr. - USD $152,820.33/Yr.
