Full job description
Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, 56 times larger than GPUs. This architecture allows Cerebras to deliver industry-leading training and inference speeds; over 10 times faster than GPU-based hyperscale cloud inference services.
This order of magnitude increase in speed is transforming the user experience of AI applications, unlocking real-time iteration and increasing intelligence via additional agentic computation.
Cerebras works with the leading model labs, global enterprises, and cutting-edge AI-native startups. OpenAI recently announced a multi-year partnership with Cerebras, to deploy 750 megawatts of scale, transforming key workloads with ultra high-speed inference. About the Team The Cerebras Data Center team brings the infrastructure behind our AI systems online. We work across facility design, power and cooling, hardware, networking, supply chain, deployment, and operations to deliver reliable capacity. As our infrastructure expands, we are building the programs and repeatable processes that help teams execute across multiple sites. About the Role Cerebras is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead supply chain readiness programs for data center expansion. You will connect capacity and deployment plans with the equipment, supplier commitments, and logistics needed to bring new infrastructure online. Working with procurement, engineering, manufacturing, finance, construction, and deployment teams, you will create an integrated view of demand, supply, and site readiness. You will own the cross-functional equipment readiness plan, uncover shortages and long-lead risks, and drive recovery actions that protect delivery milestones. The role requires technical judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate suppliers and internal teams across multiple concurrent deployments. Responsibilities Translate approved site and capacity plans into time-phased equipment requirements, working with engineering to confirm specifications, bills of materials, quantities, and need-by dates. Build and maintain integrated supply plans across critical electrical and cooling equipment, racks, networking, and supporting infrastructure; align supplier schedules with site milestones. Partner with procurement and suppliers to validate lead times, production capacity, order status, factory readiness, and delivery commitments; surface gaps before they affect deployment. Lead recurring demand and supply reviews; reconcile changes in site schedules, engineering configurations, inventory, and purchase commitments with program and finance partners. Drive mitigation of shortages, quality issues, and supplier delays through recovery plans, allocation recommendations, alternate sourcing, and engineering-approved substitutions. Coordinate logistics and delivery readiness with suppliers, integrators, construction, and site teams, including shipping, receiving, storage, installation sequencing, and international dependencies. Establish program reporting for equipment readiness, on-time delivery, shortages, forecast changes, inventory exposure, and cost impacts; present decisions and escalations to leadership. Improve supply chain execution through common readiness checkpoints, supplier reviews, change control, and lessons learned, balancing delivery speed with quality, cost, and inventory risk.
Staff Technical Program Manager, Data Center Supply Chain Required Qualifications Experience leading technical supply chain, infrastructure procurement, materials readiness, or hardware delivery programs with significant supplier and cross-functional dependencies. Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs across multiple sites or product lines, resolve competing priorities, and deliver measurable schedule or supply improvements. Working knowledge of data center equipment and deployment dependencies, including the impact of technical specifications, equipment compatibility, and long-lead components on site readiness. Strong analytical skills in demand and supply planning, inventory reconciliation, lead-time analysis, and scenario modeling; ability to validate and communicate the underlying assumptions. Experience coordinating supplier commitments, engineering changes, logistics, and recovery plans while maintaining clear ownership and visibility of critical risks. Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting options and tradeoffs to engineering, procurement, finance, suppliers, and executive leadership. Preferred Qualifications Experience with transformers, switchgear, power distribution, cooling equipment, racks, network equipment, or other infrastructure used in mission-critical facilities. Experience with AI or high-performance computing infrastructure, contract manufacturers, rack integrators, or international data center deployments. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning and materials planning systems, supplier performance dashboards, and commercial procurement processes.
