Job Description

The Med Surg Manager provides leadership, direction, and oversight for acute care services to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

This role is responsible for managing day-to-day clinical operations, supervising healthcare staff, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.

The Med Surg Manager promotes a culture of continuous improvement, patient safety, and operational excellence while supporting staff development and enhancing patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Current MT RN licensure

3+ Years of acute care, hospital, or clinical leadership experience.

Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and quality improvement methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
